To know what causes anxiety, we should first know what actually anxiety is. Anxiety is not a bad feeling in itself.
A little amount of stress is required in our lives as without it we may not be too motivated to do a particular work.
For instance, it is the feeling of stress behind making a student work hard for the approaching class test. Without anxiety, the child will not think of scoring high in his/her exams.
So, when does anxiety becomes troublesome?
We need to realize, there is a thin line between positive and negative anxiety, the minute it crosses the line, it becomes a problem.
An individual might have to go through depression or mental or psychological ailments in case of extreme anxiety cases.
There are cases when people experience stress attacks for very insignificant or no valid reasons.
Note: When you get sweaty and dizzy just by thinking about something, then you can be assured that it is an anxiety attack. In worst cases people may even get unconscious.
