In accordance with several local news outlets, a young man from UC Berkeley was killed after being hit by a hit-and-run driver last Saturday. The California Highway Patrol revealed that he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
This unfortunate accident happened near Davis around 5:30 a.m., when an unknown vehicle that fled away from the scene hit the 21-year-old. Authorities are still investigating this crash but no further details were revealed to the media.
